We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.Posted: January 1, 2014
It’s been a hell of a year, I can tell you that. Updating the blog was the least of my concerns, which is a shame, because I think perhaps writing might’ve helped to soothe my jangled nerves. It’s always been a good way to get my thoughts in order. You should give it a try. You don’t need to show anyone.
This is simply a little note to say I’m writing again, and I’ll be updating thrice weekly, Mon-Wed-Fri. And I’ll try to be good this time, not only in adhering to the schedule but also in terms of quality. I’ve been reading a lot more since I started working in the hospital. It should help my writing, with any luck.
I’ve noticed there are ads at the bottom sometimes. I didn’t know they existed. Sorry. I’ll try to get rid of them if it’s not too expensive. I’m also planning to revamp the site a bit, so you’ve got that to look forward to.
Good things I enjoyed last year: Downton Abbey (though it’s losing steam), Homeland (also losing steam), Papers Please (game of the year), Bill Callahan’s new album (good not great but I said that about the last one and I love it now), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (I wish I was 14 again so I could be part of the target demographic but it’s still a good young adult story) and chicken on a raft.
Hi-yo, chicken on a raft.
